“How much will it cost?” Usually it doesn’t, The question is really “What will the return on my investment be?”
The cost of hiring us varies by the size of the event and how much or little you want us to do for you, so it’s really difficult to put a definitive price list together.
However, here are some ideas of how much a hire is likely to be. Be aware this is only a ready reckoner. It gives an idea of the cost involved but it is NOT an exact equation, nor is it a quote. Get in touch today and we can give you a precise quotation for our services.

We can cater for whatever size event you are planning. Whether it’s a few mates round for a film in the garden to a major event with an audience in the thousands we have a range of packages available to suit your needs and budget.
For a medium event we would send a metal frame screen or a small inflatable frame screen. Ranging in size from 2.5m to 5m. In consultation with you would decide which would be best to meet your needs. These can be back or front projected depending on space. (The image above is a 4m metal frame screen set for front projection so it can be positioned closer to the hedge).
These packages require a space of approx 6m x 3m min to 10m x 8m for our equipment and 5m x 5m min for your audience. Suitable for audiences up to 250.
For a Large event we would send a large metal frame screen or an inflatable frame screen. Ranging in size from 4m to 6.5m. In consultation with you would decide which would be best to meet your needs. These can be back or front projected depending on space.
These packages require a space of approx 6m x 3m min to 10m x 8m for our equipment and 5m x 5m min for your audience. Suitable for audiences up to 750.
Extra large event
The screens for Extra large events are very big so all are inflatable. Ranging in size from 6m to 16m. We’ll generally bring the largest one we can fit in your venue. These are usually front projected. (The image above is an 8m inflatable front projection screen.
These packages require a space of approx 8m x 4m min to 20m x 8m for our equipment plus a projection booth within your audience area. The audience area can be from 8m x 12m with no upper limit. Suitable for an audience over 750.
There’s physically no limit to how far away the back row of your audience can be as long as they can see the screen and hear the soundtrack.
But to get the big screen cinema experience we recommend that the screen should cover a minimum of 35 degrees of your audience’s field of vision. That means for a 3m screen the back row of your VIP area should be about 5.35m from the screen. For a 16m screen the distance is 28m. We’ll do the calculations and help you decide.
We need electricity to make the magic happen. We need a mains supply of a Minimum Two outlet sockets, either 13A (normal 3 pin sockets) or 16A ( BS60309, known as Commando or Ceeform sockets) for our exclusive use no more than 50m from our equipment for safety and reliability reasons. If there isn’t mains then we can supply our own generator set, so we really can “Pop Up” anywhere! POA.
If the cinema is for you and your family, in your garden then the licence you bought with your DVD/Blu-ray/Download covers playing the film.
For all other screenings an additional license will be required. You are welcome to arrange one yourself, it’s quite straightforward and can be done online but we can do that for you too if you need. Just ask for details.
The venue will usually need a license. You may already have one and there are exemptions (some PTA events for example). Just ask for details.
